Q: Why do I need professional LinkedIn profile photos?
A: You need a professional profile photo because, like it or not, others will judge you within just 40 milliseconds. In that short time, they will decide how professional you and whether they can trust you. They will determine if you are likable, easy to work with, and dozens of other factors that will help them decide if they want to contact you. A great professional profile photo will greatly increase the chances of being contacted by your target audience.
Q: What else will a professional profile photo do for me?
A: You’ll stand out from at least 90% of everyone else on LinkedIn. That is because they are using selfies, candids, old photos, and lots of other unprofessional profile photos.
Q: Can you really create a great profile photo for me in just fifteen minutes?
A: Yes, I can! I’ve have created thousands of headshots over the years. I have studied with some of the best headshot photographers in the world. I also know the psychology behind people’s perception of someone when they see a profile photo. I know how to coach you for expression and body language. Between your input and my experience, we will nail it!
Q: Do I get to try a number of different clothing options?
A: Because of our limited time, I recommend that you bring one main outfit that you can easily modify. That could mean changing a jacket, adding a scarf, changing a tie, etc. We’ll also be creating images with a variety of expressions so you will have a nice collection to select from.
Q: Do you have a hair and makeup artist?
A: The hair and makeup artist is only available for the Mini and Professional headshot sessions.
Q: What if I want to extend my session?
A: If my schedule allows, there are options to extend your session. But if you think you will need more time, you can to reserve one of my other session options.
Q: How long will it take to get my new profile photo and what will I receive?
A: You will receive your new retouched LinkedIn profile photo cropped, resized, and ready to be uploaded within twenty-four hours. You’ll also receive a full frame high resolution file of your new headshot to use elsewhere.
Q: Can I use my LinkedIn profile photo on other social media sites?
A: Of course! And, if there are any issues, you can make a copy of the full-frame image to crop and resize it to fit in another platform.
Q: How much does this cost?
A: For the fifteen minute session with expression and posing coaching, the guided image selection, the retouching, and file preparation, the cost is $375 plus Washington State sales tax?
Q: What if I want additional images?
A: Additional images are available at our normal retouching charge of $275 per image plus Washington State sales tax.
Q: Can I have the images that I don’t select for retouching?
A: For quality assurance, I do not distribute any images that have not been through my retouching process.

Want More Than Fifteen Minutes?
While the Express LinkedIn Profile Photos session is a great option, you may want more from your session. That could be more time to get comfortable in front of the camera. The time to try more than one look for more variety to select from. And you may want to take advantage of having one of my professional hair and makeup artists prepare you to look your best in front of the camera.
If you feel any of those would be helpful in creating the best possible images, I highly recommend one of my other sessions.
Mini Session: Up to forty-minutes in the studio to give you more time to get used to being in front of the lights and camera. It also gives you a little extra time to try a different look. There’s also an option to include a hair and makeup artist.
Professional Session: My most popular session and the one my clients love the best. The typical Professional Session lasts between 90 and 120 minutes but you have up to four hours in the studio. That gives you plenty of time to get really comfortable in front of the lights and camera. and try multiple looks without any pressure. You can also have the optional hair and makeup with this session. This is also the best session for actors, singers, and other performing artists who need multiple looks for their portfolio.
