I discovered Charlie at the last minute through some fantastic reviews on Reddit while searching for a photographer to take my medical school application headshot. I couldn’t have found a better photographer, especially at the last minute; what luck! As someone who has always been self-conscious about my looks, I felt confident attaching this photo to my med school applications. I’ve never considered myself photogenic, but Charlie made me feel comfortable throughout the entire session. He captured a photo that I might genuinely love, which is a rare achievement for me. When I arrived at his studio, I was flustered because I hadn’t finished my makeup yet. However, Charlie had a station set up where clients could finalize their makeup. Sensing my nervousness, he encouraged me to take my time, offered me a bottle of water, and made the whole process enjoyable and exciting. We took some photos, reviewed them on his computer, discussed how to improve them, and continued shooting until we found the perfect one that I loved. I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie. My wife and I met Charlie at his professional studio in downtown Seattle for dog portraits. Charlie was great with our high energy Olde English Bulldog, who looked comfortable very quickly in a new environment which was a very important aspect of the meeting. We hired Charlie to do headshots at an event where we were expecting 50-60 people to attend, we ended up having over 100. Charlie jumped in and managed the surge of people with absolute grace and complete professionalism. This was a College Student event. Despite the large number of people waiting to get their headshots taken by Charlie, he still managed to create a wonderful experience for each of them.
