Montana Resident Books Seattle Headshot Photoshoot
It is always a huge complement when people take the time and make the investment to travel a long distance to have me create their images. Paula flew in from Whitefish, Montana after finding my website in a Google search and reserving a time to create some new headshots.
I always feel pressure to produce great images for my clients. When someone has made this much effort to get here, it gets dialed up a few extra notches. But Paula was easy to work with. We had a great conversation while having her hair and makeup done. (In-studio hair and makeup is what sealed the deal for her.) I learned about her career, what some of her goals were for the future, and how her new headshots would help her in a variety of situations.
We spent about three hours creating her images in a variety of outfits and looks. I spent time coaching her on expressions, body positions, etc. Once Paula was sure she had an awesome set of images, we reviewed them all on a 50-inch monitor. We selected seven images to retouch in a way that would serve her best. Here are a few of my favorite headshot images.

Paula looks confident, approachable, and professional in all of her headshots. Wearing glasses, changing attire, and varying background darkness add variety to Paula’s looks.
